At a time when the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer, Kashi Ram Colony breathes fresh hope into a landscape dotted with the homes of the affluent. It is heartwarming to see the efforts the former Mayawati government put into alleviating the tribulations of the underprivileged in a place where the only demographic is the rich and the prosperous.
Launched in 2008 as a noble endeavour to provide free homes to people below poverty line (BPL), the Kashi Ram Colony was developed by the NOIDA Development Authority under the Kashi Ram Awas Vikas Bhawan scheme. Generously built over an expansive plot size of 3 acres, the Society has 512 one-room flats with easy access to the Expressway and surrounding areas. A mere 3 km from the Botanical Garden Metro station and close to the villages of Chhalera and Sadarpur in Sector 45, the Society is tactically located with a primary school towards the front and functional village markets right behind. It is heartening to see that NOIDA has a place for everyone.
Situated just 3 km from both the botanical garden and Noida City Centre Metro stations, the colony has a main arterial road that affords direct access to major sectors of Noida and Greater Noida. Autos and rickshaws are readily available.
A team of two take care of maintenance of the Society.
Daily necessities such as groceries, a dairy outlet, banks and ATMs are available at the Chhalera and Sadarpur markets, just a stone\'s throw away from the colony. For shopping and recreation, Atta Market in Noida Sector 18 and The Great India Place mall in Sector 38, are a few minutes away by road.
There is adequate provision in the form of personal garages and plots to take care of parking for both residents and visitors.
There are four security guards stationed 24x7 at both the colony gates.
The colony boasts three lush parks and a designated lane for residents to enjoy long walks around the compound.
