A residential housing society of Noida Development Authority, RWA A-Block, Sector 34 has a wide range of plots with lots of open space. It has in all 92 independent houses over an area of 300 sqm. The Society has well maintained parks and a capacious community centre. There are schools, hospitals, markets and petrol pumps in the neighbourhood.
Rickshaws are prime movers within the Sector while autos hanging around outside the compound and tempos from the main road facilitate inter-sector transport. Noida City Centre Metro station is at a walking distance from Sector 34 and connects residents to the rest of the city.
The RWA office with a strength of 10 office bearers takes care of the maintenance duties of the compound. A monthly maintenance charge of Rs 500 takes care of the costs incurred on the upkeep of the Society.
B-12 market caters to the daily needs of the residents including groceries, ATM service, etc. Sector 34 also has a unique 'Shukr Bazaar' that crops up every Friday along the lanes and by-lanes of the entire locality.
Parking facility inside the Society is available on site exclusively for residents while visitors and shoppers can park their vehicles right outside the compound.
The Sector is secured by two CCTV cameras and an equal number of guards who work in shifts divided between them.
RWA Block A has two play areas cum parks for children at the centre of the compound. It does fall short of a proper garden, but Sector 34 has a significant amount of space allotted for gardens and parks some of which are pretty well maintained. While quite a few festivals are celebrated in the compound, national days like Independence Day and Republic Day hold a special place in the hearts of the residents. The compound also has a library maintained by the manager of the compound.
