Noida's Sector 15 is perhaps the oldest Sector of the satellite town. The central location and proximity to Delhi makes this Sector one of the most sought after to settle in Noida. Decked up in glorious greens, the 8 acres that make this Sector is dotted with parks, gardens, tree-lined roads, foliage and play area. It also has its own community centre. Spread across 5 blocks, residents of this assortment of 1,066 villas have the privilege of having a Metro station at an arm's length. Flats inside the Sector are mainly divided as per the HIG and LIG status. Being the oldest sector, it naturally has a few drawbacks in terms of narrow roads and lanes. Parking is one of the major problems this Sector suffers from today.
Drive often to Delhi for work or for dinner with friends? The 9.2 km long DND Flyway near the Sector connects Delhi without any traffic jams, red lights and other roadblocks. The Sector also works as a base for all local transportation right from basic cycle rickshaw, e-rickshaw to autos, DTC buses and other comfortable AC coaches.
The RWA provide manpower for garbage collection, grooming of parks and round the clock security.
Everyday grocery and utility items are readily available at the community market right within the Sector. For branded products, residents head towards Atta market in Sector 18 or to malls such as Wave, Star City and GIP which are in the immediate vicinity.
The biggest drawback of the Sector is its narrow lanes. There is no designated parking area inside the Sector - most residents park their cars in front of their houses. The problem happens when a family owns more than one car - and that seems to be the case with most people, some owning as many as 5 cars. Back in the day when this Sector was being developed, nobody could have imagined there will be so many cars one day.
22 security guards and 10 close circuit television cameras closely watch over the Society and protects residents and their properties from known and unknown troubles.
The neat and green Sector has 8 parks fully decked up with sculpted trees, shrubs and plants. With as many as 1,066 villas, meeting all your neighbours seems unlikely. Which is why residents visit the club house to mingle with each other, even as they watch TV or play a round of carom there.
